Question 1

What is Ruokaboksi?

Accepted Answer

Ruokaboksi is Finland’s most convenient way to make busy everyday life easier, try new recipes, reduce food waste, find inspiration for cooking and spend more time enjoying meals together. At Ruokaboksi, we plan tasty and inspiring everyday meals that change every week, then deliver fresh, high-quality ingredients and clear instructions to your door. We prefer ingredients sourced directly from Finnish producers. You receive Ruokaboksi only in the weeks you choose and pay only for the boxes delivered.

Question 2

What am I committing to when I try Ruokaboksi?

Accepted Answer

When you try the service, you only commit to paying for one box.

After your first order, you decide whether you want to continue using the service. You can manage upcoming deliveries on your customer account pages. The delivery calendar is active by default. You can pause individual delivery weeks or all upcoming deliveries. You can pause the following week's order by Tuesday at the latest, which is 6 days before delivery.

Membership is free, and you will not be charged for paused weeks.

According to our customer feedback, most people find their own way to use Ruokaboksi within a few weeks. After that, everyday life becomes much easier. Suddenly, Monday is the best day of the week as you wait for your box to arrive.

Question 3

How does a Ruokaboksi subscription work in practice?

Accepted Answer

Your Ruokaboksi subscription works exactly as you want it to. You can order one box to try without recurring deliveries or any commitment. You decide whether you want to continue using the service.

Boxes are delivered on Monday evenings between 15–22. The box is delivered directly to your home. We will confirm the delivery time by text message on the Friday before delivery. On Monday, you can track your delivery in real time. With your first order, you will receive login details for your Ruokaboksi account, where you can easily manage your deliveries and order more boxes if you wish. When your deliveries are paused, your Ruokaboksi membership is free.

You can manage your upcoming deliveries in the delivery calendar on your account page. In the calendar, you can add extra products to your order for the following week, pause deliveries for a holiday, for example, or pause all upcoming deliveries. When a delivery is paused, we will not deliver your box, and you will not be charged anything for those weeks.

Question 4

What fees does the customer pay for using the service?

Accepted Answer

Ruokaboksi’s flexible subscription is free: you only pay for the boxes you order. Home delivery is also included in the service. You choose when you want a box delivered to your door and when you don’t.

There are no sign-up fees, annual fees, delivery fees or other hidden costs. As easy as Ruokaboksi!

How do I order Ruokaboksi?

Accepted Answer
