Ruokaboksi and Save the Children join forces to help children in Finland
Ruokaboksi is starting a partnership with Save the Children by joining the Give the Gift of a Future Christmas campaign to help children and young people in Finland
For every meal box sold during one week in December, Ruokaboksi will donate €1 to the fundraiser. During December, Ruokaboksi customers can also donate any amount via MobilePay to 31979. By donating to the fundraiser, Ruokaboksi customers help low-income families and children at risk of social exclusion in Finland.
Currently, more than 120,000 children in Finland live in low-income families, and this number is estimated to increase by nearly 30,000. At the same time, financial hardship among low-income families with children is becoming more severe. Many children feel that they do not even have enough food.
With the funds raised during the Christmas campaign, Save the Children provides food vouchers and support for hobbies. The organisation also offers children from families in difficult circumstances support persons and online counselling, among other forms of support.

Ruokaboksi’s charity campaign runs from 1.12.–30.12.2025. Ruokaboksi customers can donate an amount of their choice via MobilePay to number 31979.
